The students from Spain were very happening. They brought a guitar and were singing. 2 Mexicans, Lulu and Carina started dancing to the music.
Having fun at the fair
I was surprised to know that there were a couple of people who were interested in coming to Singapore, even more so to NUS for studies. It was fun telling them about my country and school. Haha, feel so patriotic. My favourite topic was the variety of food in Singapore. :)

There was free coffee and pulla served as well. So nice of them...
At the end of the fair, the participants were presented with a token of appreciation - a polar bear in a reusable bag.At 5.45 pm, I went over to Xiao Hui's apratment so that we can meet other people to go ice skating together. Her new flat mate, Linana is from Lithuania and she brought her dog, Bandito with her!! It's a 5 month old male and he doesn't like guys.....
Hyperactive Bandito
Next was ice skating at a frozen pond (actually it looks too big to be a pond, too small to be a lake. Whatever.) near our hostel. I borrowed Rémi's skates which he bought from a second hand store.

Eliška and Eva were trying to teach me how to do a proper forward powerslide allows you to stop quickly in a short distance, but I find it so tough! Too used to placing my body weight on the front leg when doing a T-brake already. So, got to practise more...
We left shortly sometime after there was a full blown game ongoing. There were at least 18 people playing at that time.
I've also been searching the web for some easy recipes to try. Among the short listed are baked potatoes and butter biscuits. So many things to try, so exciting! Alright, time now is 12.43 am. Time to sleep!
